The Riverstone Hammam is built around a heated stone floor rather than a pool — guests recline directly on warmed slabs while a low mist moves through the room.
We studied hammam and Roman bathing traditions closely while designing this space, and borrowed the pacing (cool room, warm room, hot room, in sequence) without claiming to replicate any single tradition exactly. The stone itself is a local river rock, cut and set by a mason from the valley rather than imported.
Sixty minutes covers the full three-room sequence, ending with a cool rinse at a stone basin near the exit.
