Our instinct, when we opened, was to let guests set their own pace entirely — no schedule, no suggested duration, just open pools. It didn’t work as well as we expected.
Without a shape to the visit, most guests either left too early, unsure if they were doing it “right,” or stayed long enough in the hottest pools to leave uncomfortable rather than restored. Adding a fixed duration to each ritual — announced at the start, gently enforced by staff — solved both problems at once.
It sounds like a small operational choice, but it’s probably the single decision guests mention most often when they explain why a visit here felt different from other spas they’ve tried.
